The powers of municipalities to use water bodies for recreational purposes have been clarified

Today, at a meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, a bill was adopted today to amend the republican law on local self-government. The document, developed in order to bring republican legislation into line with federal legislation, clarifies the powers of municipalities to approve the procedure for using water bodies for recreational purposes.

According to federal legislation, issues of local importance for municipal districts and urban districts include the issue of establishing rules for the use of water bodies for recreational purposes, as well as holding public discussions of planned economic and other activities.


Also, taking into account law enforcement practice, the bill provides for the introduction of shortened deadlines for approval by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan for the implementation by local government bodies of international and foreign economic relations in the form of meetings, consultations and other events with representatives of state-territorial, administrative-territorial and municipal entities of foreign states.

The head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Taliya Minullina, took part in the meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.
