Today, there is a constant exchange of achievements and experience in different spheres between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan.

It was a revelation to me when I saw it: everything we purchase abroad in terms of information technologies, for example, recently we obtained a robotic surgery complex - all these things are produced in Tatarstan at a high level. Moreover, you have resolved the issues of cooperation in the agricultural sector: we have seen your Agro-industrial Park, where you managed to take into account the interests of farmers and create decent conditions for the sale and processing of agricultural products. The conditions for microlending to farmers are also created, we should adopt this experience. We will also carefully examine your practice in the field of education, including the establishment of resource centres. All the issues related to the development of human capital are of great interest", - the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov shared.
The relations between the republics started to develop rapidly in 1966, when an intergovernmental agreement was signed, which referred to the principles of trade, economic, cultural, educational and tourist cooperation. Today, about 40 joint enterprises are working in the Republic of Tatarstan. Many of leading enterprises of Tatarstan, such as "Kamaz", "Tatneft", JSC «Zelenodolsk plant named after A.M. Gorky» and others are operating in Kazakhstan. During the most recent visit to the capital of Tatarstan, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev has set a target to bring the trade turnover to 1 billion USD. Intensive work in this direction is underway.
