Private-Public Partnership

The Republic of Tatarstan actively uses the mechanism of private-public partnership (PPP) for realization of investment projects.
Projects in social sphere are implemented most successfully in Tatarstan.

Healthcare traditionally is the most attractive for private side as government eagerly provides facilities for provision of medical services necessary for citizens. Regional concession agreements has been effectively realized in our republic since 2011 in medical centers for reproductive activity recovery and artificial insemination, cancer treatment with hemodialysisand tomotherapy, child cerebral paralysis rehabilitation, etc. The public side provides real estate facilities for realization of social projects.

The first agreement of municipal-private partnership is signed in Tatarstan on creation of a sports-health complex. In municipal format PPP becomes one of the instruments of operative and resultative task solution for both sides. Municipal unit receives free sports activities for citizens of social groups and landscaped public space, and an entrepreneur enjoys profitable business. The public side provides municipal tender-free land plots for realization of social-matter projects.

Tatarstan is progressing in development of infrastructure projects including roads and bridges construction.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency is authorized on PPP development and on statements for applications on realization of PPP projects. Investors are invited to consider real estate objects and land plots applicable for PPP projects.
